Easy to install: For new installation, trace the outline of the flush bolt body in the desired mounting position on the door and chisel out the slot. Place the bolt and install the screws. For replacement, please confirm that this flush bolt is compatible with your slot first.
Secure Flip Lever Mechanism - Compared to the sliding/push kind, flip lever locking mechanism can prevent the door from being slid opened by tools squeezed in through the door gap. It can also prevent the bolt from automatically dropping down due to gravity when the flush bolt gets aging.
Locking Bolt for Double Doors – Slotted installation on inactive leaf or double door opening. It can also be surface mounted for some locking conditions. For example, install on the side of sliding door or the interior of the closet/pantry/cabinet door. (Please make sure there is space to install the strike plate which allows the bolt to throw into.)
Wood Dowels Included: Comes with three dowels for filling the old/oversized screw holes (if needed). Fix the problem that the screw hole is over-drilled and the screw won’t tighten. Solution to fill the old screw hole and drill new pilot hole. You can fill the screw hole directly or apply glue to the wood dowels to secure them.
