The chain link gate closer features an adjustable tension system to ensure the gate closes securely every time. The tension system can be adjusted according to the gate's weight, ensuring smooth closing. It is suitable for backyard gates, dog gates, and pool gates.
Installation Steps
1. Place post clamp around post and secure in position with 5/16′′ carriage bolts. Heads of bolts facing gate.
2. Place spring in slot in post clamp and secure with 1/4′′ bolt, the spring hanging in opening between gate and post.
3. Slip the gate clamp on the spring from the bottom and fasten the clamp to the gate frame about 1 inch above the end of the spring. Heads of bolts facing the post.
