Block Scribe Centerline Scribe for Knifemakers
- This is a new tool maker's centerline block scribe, the body is made from 6061 grade aluminum bar stock.
- Measures 1" X 1" X 2" long. A V-groove is milled into the body to accommodate a 1/8" carbide rod. The thumbscrews are solid brass. List includes aluminum blocks, tungsten rods, washers and brass thumbscrews
- The aluminum body has a brass threaded through hole to accept thumbscrews. New heavy-duty machined aluminum washers under the thumbscrews hold the carbide rods in the block's V-grooves. This scribe will adjust from zero to a little over 1/4" in height, so you can use it to mark the center of a piece of stock that's at least 1/2" thick.
