- EVERYTHING IN ONE ORDER — The kit ships with the 4x4 drawn steel outlet box, a raised 2-gang duplex receptacle cover, two tamper resistant receptacles, and the copper grounding screw and wire. No separate trip for a cover that fits, no hunting for the right depth. Open the bag and the whole assembly is in front of you.
- DRAWN STEEL CONSTRUCTION — The box is formed by the drawn method, so the body is a single piece of steel with no welded seams to split when the conduit gets torqued down. Twenty-one cubic inches of capacity at a 1-1/2 inch depth, and a raised ground provision with screw already in place for a clean bonding path.
- SIXTEEN KNOCKOUTS — Ten 1/2-inch and six 3/4-inch knockouts, arranged as eight 1/2-inch and four 3/4-inch on the sides plus two of each on the bottom. Whichever direction the conduit or cable comes from, there is an opening waiting, and the ones you do not use stay closed.
- COMMERCIAL GRADE 20 AMP OUTLETS — These are not builder-grade receptacles. Full saddle yoke, self-grounding, impact resistant face, tamper resistant shutters, rated 125V 2-pole 3-wire at 20 amps. That is the spec that holds up to a shop vac, a compressor, and a space heater sharing the same box.
