20 rods Aluminum Brazing Rod 1/13 For Propane Torch, Flux Core Aluminum Brazing Rods NO NEED Flux, Aluminum Repair Simple Solution (13" Length)
- Application Field: NO NEED FLUX.Low-temperature aluminum brazing rod is suitable for brazing aluminum, aluminum alloys, aluminum-magnesium alloys, and other light-colored metals such as car suspensions, frames, motorcycle tanks, wheels, furniture, lighting fixtures, lamp heads, and even aircraft wings.
- Brazing Method: Our aluminum brazing rod is also perfect for beginners as it is easy to operate and has excellent fillability. The resulting weld seam is generally smooth, and the strength at the brazing point is usually higher than that of the base material. It can achieve impressive Brazing results.
- Brazing Environment: It is recommended to have the base material temperature between 380°C (716°F) and 420°C (788°F) for brazing. Please note that continuous flame heating of the rod should be avoided. The base material should be preheated first. Once it reaches a certain temperature, bring our YEJJET brazing rod close to the brazing area, and it will melt and cover the weld seam with slight heating.
- Small Size and Easy to Handle: We provide 1/16" and 1/13" low-temperature aluminum brazing rod, suitable for brazing and filling in small-scale projects.
- Product Features: The low-temperature aluminum brazing rod offered by YEJJET contains special flux cores, eliminating the need for additional flux during operation. The rod has good fluidity, and the braze joints are firm, making it a highly recommended product for various applications.

Before embarking on aluminum brazing, it's crucial to ensure that the welding surface is clean, allowing for a solid brazed joint by eliminating contaminants. The primary aim is to remove oxides, grease, dust, and other impurities to facilitate brazing in an oxygen-free environment.
Deoxidation : Employ chemical agents or mechanical means to eliminate oxide layers from the aluminum surface. Oxides can compromise the quality of brazing, making a clean surface essential.
Cleaning : Utilize solvents, brushes, sandpaper, or other cleaning tools to eliminate grease, dust, and impurities. A clean welding area enhances the adhesion and flow of the brazing material.
Key Step two: Heating
Heating plays a pivotal role in aluminum brazing, providing the necessary heat to melt and flow the brazing material, thereby forming a robust connection.
Preheating : In some cases, preheating the welding area is necessary to alleviate thermal stress and prevent crack formation before brazing begins.
Heating the Brazing Alloy : Position the brazing alloy rod at the welding area and employ a suitable heat source such as a torch or an electron beam to heat the rod to the required temperature, causing it to melt and bond with the base material.
Key Step three: Brazing
Once the surface preparation and heating steps are completed, the actual brazing process can commence. At elevated temperatures, the brazing material melts and fills the joint, creating a robust welded joint.
Material Fusion : Under the influence of heat, the brazing rod melts and flows into the joint. Interaction between the brazing material and the base material generates a strong connection, filling gaps and forming a stable joint.
Cooling : Upon completion of brazing, allow the welded area to cool down, permitting the brazing material to solidify. The cooling process is vital to ensure the stability of the brazed joint.
Suitable for Brazing Aluminum Metal Parts
Aluminum brazing finds its niche in a diverse array of products that necessitate the gentle melding of aluminum components at lower temperatures. This method of joining employs brazing filler materials to establish connections, avoiding the need for extreme heat.
