The Army Painter Plastic Frame Cutter, Stainless Steel Cutter for Miniature
- ✂️ Remove miniature and model parts cleanly from plastic sprue frames with a precision sprue cutter, also known as plastic clippers or nippers. Thin, sharp blades let you cut close to small components with greater control, helping separate delicate miniature parts without damaging the model.
- 🎯 Get a close, clean cut by positioning the flat side of the cutter against the model part and squeezing the handles. The compact cutting head reaches into plastic frames and tight spaces, helping leave less excess sprue attached to the component and reducing the cleanup needed before assembly.
- 👌 Make model building easier on delicate parts. Using a dedicated plastic frame cutter instead of twisting pieces from the sprue helps reduce stress, bending, and accidental damage to small model components. The ergonomic, anti-slip handle provides a secure grip while you work through your model kit.
- 🎲 Build Warhammer miniatures, Dungeons & Dragons (D&D) characters, model kits, scale models, terrain, and other plastic projects. Use the cutter to remove components from their frames during assembly or to trim plastic parts for conversions, modifications, and other detailed craft projects.
- 🧰 Make model assembly easier by pairing the Plastic Frame Cutter with The Army Painter Hobby Knife to clean up remaining sprue marks and mould lines, then use Plastic Glue to assemble hard plastic parts. Add a Cutting Mat to help protect your work surface while trimming and preparing your models.
