Legal Disclaimer
New Pig Adhesive-Backed Mats are formulated to work with most common hard-floor surfaces. New Pig Adhesive-Backed Mats are not intended for use on wood flooring with stains, finishes, or coatings. If using the Carpet Protection versions of our adhesive-backed mats, please be sure to use only on carpeted surfaces and never on uncarpeted, hard surfaces. New Pig Adhesive-Backed Mats have non-permeable barrier layers to prevent liquid pass-through and, as such, are considered to be non-breathable and may not be suitable for use on surfaces that require air curing, including, but not limited to, newly poured concrete or recently applied coatings, sealants, and finishes. All adhesive mats have some potential to leave residue or lift or discolor finish coatings, paint, and loose or pre-damaged tiles depending on the condition and age of the floors or other surfaces. For these reasons and others, if you have questions about the suitability of New Pig Adhesive-Backed Mats for your application, test a small section of mat in a discrete or non-critical area before using on larger areas. New Pig Adhesive-Backed Mats are designed for use for up to 3-6 months depending on conditions and traffic patterns. Regardless, New Pig Adhesive-Backed Mats should be replaced immediately if they show signs of wear or damage and should always be replaced no later than 6 months after installation. CUSTOMER ASSUMES THE RISK THAT A NEW PIG ADHESIVE-BACKED MAT MAY DAMAGE OR ALTER CUSTOMER’S EXISTING FLOORING OR FLOOR COVERING. NEW PIG PROVIDES NO WARRANTY OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NO WARRANTY THAT THE USE OF AN ADHESIVE-BACKED MAT WILL BE ACCEPTABLE FOR USE ON CUSTOMER’S FLOORING OR ANY OTHER SURFACE. NEW PIG SHALL HAVE NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR, AND CUSTOMER HEREBY RELEASES AND DISCHARGES NEW PIG FROM, ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES TO OR RELATED TO CUSTOMER’S FLOORS, FLOORING MATERIAL, OR ANY OTHER SURFACES IN CUSTOMER’S DWELLING OR FACILITY. CUSTOMER IS SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR DETERMINING THE FITNESS AND APPROPRIATENESS OF THE USE OF A NEW PIG ADHESIVE-BACKED MAT IN CUSTOMER’S DWELLING OR FACILITY.
